CHÚA NHẬT 26 THƯỜNG NIÊN. 26th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME.

Matthew 21:28-32

-Jesus said to the chief and elders of the people: “What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He came to the first and said, ‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’ He said in reply, ‘I will not,’ but afterwards changed his mind and went. The man came to the other son and gave the same order. He said in reply, ‘Yes, sir,’ but did not go. Which of the two did his father’s will?” They answered, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you. When John came to you in the way of righteousness, you did not believe him; but tax collectors and prostitutes did. Yet even when you saw that, you did not later change your minds and believe him.”

Tóm lược:

-Bài Phúc Âm hôm nay nói về dụ ngôn hai người con của ông chủ vườn nho: một người nói làm nhưng lại không làm; còn người nói không làm nhưng lại làm. Chúa Giêsu muốn dạy chúng ta là muốn nên thánh là làm theo thánh ý Thiên Chúa, như người con nói không làm nhưng ông ta nghĩ lại vì tình thương đối với người cha nên ông ta làm theo ý đó để cha vui lòng. Vậy điều quan trọng nhất để nên thánh và được vào nước thiên đàng là vâng theo thánh ý Thiên Chúa nghĩa là thi hành những gì Chúa Giêsu dạy trong đời sống hằng ngày của chúng ta.

Summary:

- Today’s Gospel talked of the parable about the two sons of a vineyard owner. One of the sons said yes to his dad and forgot his promise, the other said no but eventually he did what his dad told him to do. Jesus wanted to tell us that in order to become saintly like God, we need to do what God told us, like the second son, who said he wouldn’t do what his father told him to, but because of love, he did his job so his father could be happy.

2- Điều quan trọng nhất trong cuộc sống đạo của chúng ta là gì?

2- What is the most important thing in our Christian lives?

Thực Hành:

-Khi thực hành những việc đạo đức, kinh nguyện, xem lễ…hãy làm vì lòng yêu mến Chúa.

 Trẻ em:-Khi học giáo lý, cố gắng chăm chỉ nghe lời các giãng viên, đừng nói chuyện, lo ra.

Cầu Nguyện:

-Lạy Chúa, Chúa đã nói “Không phải bất cứ ai thưa với Thầy, ‘Lạy Chúa! Lạy Chúa!’ là được vào nước trời đâu! Nhưng chỉ ai thi hành ý muốn của Cha Thầy là Đấng ngự trên trời, mới được vào mà thôi.” Xin cho chúng con nhớ và thi hành những điều Chúa dạy qua Chúa Giêsu, Amen

 Living God’s Words this week:

- When doing your Christian works like praying or going to church, … do them because of the love you have for God.

Youngster: When studying in your Bible class, listen to your teachers and try not to talk or play around.

Prayer:

- Dear God, you had said: “Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my father in heaven will get it” Please help us remember and carry out what you had taught us through Jesus, Amen.
